Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Optical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optical and laboratory work, with a focus on quality assurance and customer service.
Duties:
- Conduct sales of optical products and services
- Engage in retail sales activities related to optical products
- Employ laboratory techniques for precision work
- Operate optical machinery such as lensometry, tracer, edger, tint-tank, etc.
- Ensure quality assurance standards are met
- Dispense, adjust and repair eyeglasses
Skills and requirements:
-Optician's License is a plus
- Proficiency in optical procedures and equipment
- Knowledge of physiology and anatomy for optical applications
- Knowledge of a range of optical lenses and products available in the industry
- Experience with laboratory techniques in an optical setting
- Strong sales skills for retail transactions
- Ability to operate optical machinery
- Understanding of quality assurance practices in an optical environment
- Prior experience in laboratory management is a plus
